West number one in West Asia Super League for round 6

American Forward Nick West (210-F-1994) had an amazing evening in the last round for Al-Muharraq, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 6.
The 31-year old player was the main contributor (25 points, eight rebounds) to his team's victory, helping them to beat Al Ittihad (#1, 2-1) 84-79. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Al-Muharraq maintains the 4th position in West Asia Super League . Al-Muharraq is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 1-2 record. West turned to be Al-Muharraq's top player in his first season with the team. Nick West averages just after three games 22.3ppg and 7.0rpg.

The second best player in last round's games was young Mohammed Alsuwailem (211-C-1998) of league's leader Al-Ula. Alsuwailem had a very good evening with a double-double of 18 points and 16 rebounds. Of course he led Al-Ula to another comfortable win 87-70 over the lower-ranked Al Arabi (#4, 1-2) being unquestionably team leader. It was definitely game of the week between two contenders to the title. Al-Ula consolidated its place in the very top position of the standings. His team has currently 2-1 record. Alsuwailem is a newcomer at Al-Ula, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was another Al-Ula's star - Lebanese guard Wael Arakji (193-G-1994). Arakji showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, 8 rebounds and 12 assists (!!!) in the last round. He was another key player of Al-Ula, helping his team with a 87-70 easy win against #4 ranked Al Arabi. Al-Ula confirms their top position in the standings. Their record at this point is 2 victories and 1 lost game. Arakji has a great season in West Asia Super League. After only 3 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 28.7ppg (4th best) and assists with 9.0apg (4th best).
